Spring Fever!

I am so ready for spring to be here! I have been itching for it to come and have flowers popping up and birds singing and warmer weather!!! I MISS it terribly, I have been feeling kind of down and anxious lately which is NEVER a good combination for me. I want to go on a vacation so bad! I need to get away for a min, I think the same goes for the rest of the family. Paityn has wanted to go to Disneyland since she was probably 2 and I think that we are going to try and take her in April sometime I am so excited to see how she will react to going! Mom and I are taking her to Disney on ice on Saturday and I am not going to tell her that thats where we are going I am just going to surprise her, It should be fun!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOUGLAS

Today is Doug's brithday and I just wanted to take a min and say how much I love him and how much he means to me! He is my best friend and truely the love of my life! He has been so good to us and gives us everything that we need and then some. He works so hard to provide for us and that means the world to me! He is so good with our girls and loves them so unconditionally and they return that love to him, they both adore him and think he is the best! I am so thankful that he decided that he wanted to be a part of mine and Paityns little family and then to add to it with Bentlee! He is the best thing to ever happen to us and so I just want to simply say HAPPY BIRTHDAY Doug I hope that you have a great day and I wish that I could give you more than I do and do more than I do! You are my everything and the love of my life!! Thank you!!

Music..

Isn't it funny how certain songs take you back to certain times in your life.. Some of them good times some of them not so good at all. My playlist right now are all songs by the band Dashboard Confessional and I just have to say that they are probably one of my all time favorite bands EVER!!!! Their music takes me back to good times mostly, I listened to them all through out high school and after and I just recently remembered how much I really do love their music! It honestly helped me get through some difficult times and made me feel so much better! Not to mention that Chris Carabba is a smokin hottie!! He is so talented and has such an amazing voice and way of writing songs that make it feel like it could be about you! So needless to say I LOVE this band!! Take a min and listen to some of the songs and enjoy!!

New Year...

Welcome to the New Year! Last year was a great year for me and my wonderful family. We got moved back up to Bear River and bought our first house. We had our sweet little Bentlee and life has just been working out great. I have never really been on to set or make resolutions so I never do. Although I do need to kick up the working out part of my life! (who doesnt really?)

Grandpa Jones

This past week has been a very hard one for me! A week ago today I was sitting here working on some stuff and I got a phone call from my mom telling me that my dear Grandpa Jones had just passed away. I was in complete shock, We had just seen him 2 weeks before at Bentlee's blessing and he seemed to be doing ok. He has struggled with some health issues and broken bones over the last couple years but I think I had just made up my mind that there was no way he would be going anywhere so soon. I have been heartbroken he has been a major part in my life and been the best grandpa anyone could ever ask for! He was so loving and willing to help any and everyone! Everyone who knew him loved him and had been touched by some lesson that they had learned from him in their lives. He was always routing for everyone weather they be the all star or the under dog. He was an avid baseball fan and loved to go and support the local high school team! He loved his grandkids unconditionally and thats really all we could have ever asked for! I will miss him every day that he is gone until I get to see him again. It breaks my heart to think of Grandma up in their house all by herself! But she is one of the strongest women I have ever known!! I am blessed with amazing granparents!!!

Bentlee D Christensen

I thought it might be a good idea to finally make a post about my sweet little angel Bentlee!! She finally made it here safe and sound. She was born @ 8:30 a.m. on the 21st of September, She weighed 8'8 and was 22 in long. She is absolutely perfect and so beautiful!!! She def already has her daddy right where she wants him. Doug has been so cute and so good with helping already. Paityn loves her new baby sister so much as well! She is always wanting to help me feed, change or bathe her. I was a little worried that she would have a really hard time with the change, But for the most part she has been awesome!! I am healing as best as I can, I still have my days where I do not feel good and hurt.. But for the most part I am doing great!! I am so in love with my life and would not change anything about it!! I have a very handsome and amazing husband, 2 beautiful girls what more could I ask for!!
